Suncoast Voices for Children is an organization the provides for the unmet physical, psychological, educational and social needs of abused, abandoned and neglected children in Pinellas and Pasco Counties. Established in 2004 this agency has fulfilled every request within their mission. Those requests come from Department of Children & Families case managers, Child Protective Investigators, Guardians ad Litem, and Ready For Life’s Mommy & Me program. Those requests are car seats and cribs to keep babies safe to private tutoring and music lessons and everything in between. In 2015 they served over 1,700 children by either trying to stabilize families to prevent the removal of children, providing products to foster families to help keep the children safe or providing funds to children who in need of the basic necessities in their lives.
The need for their services has grown exponentially in the last few years causing a need for further fundraising in order to continue to meet the needs of the children they serve. The Broadrick Family Foundation was lucky enough to be involved in the Suncoast Voices for Children’s first official fundraiser. The Suncoast Voices for Children Gala was held on September 9th at The Tampa Bay Automobile Museum and was a huge success! Thanks to the generosity of those in attendance they raise over $100,000 (their goal was $25,000)!! We are so proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization who strives to make a difference in the lives of these children.
