Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay’s mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. They have been serving the children from Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Pasco, Citrus, Hernando and Sumter counties for nearly 50 years. In 2015 the agency impacted the lives of 2,990 children by providing them with a mentor.
This year the Broadrick Family Foundation aided this effort by sponsoring the Art of Helping Children for the 17th year in a row. This year’s theme was the Jungle Book Gala and it was very wild! There were exotic animals everywhere and the program was very inspiring. The agency raised close to $500,000 which exceeded their goals. We could not be more proud of the work this agency does and feel very lucky to have been involved for so many years.
